“The reason we race isn’t so much to beat each other but to be with each other” Christopher McDougall. Wise words and they are true. I’m not racing to beat anybody, I’m racing to do my own best and run in a big community. Running NYC races is the most exciting part of being a runner. Beside the most famous marathon of course New York has a lot of really good running races to offer. Are you ready for your NYC race?
Running NYC Races: NYC Marathon & NYC Half
Racing is what makes running really exciting for me. I’m a member of the New York Road Runner here in New York City and try to run as many races with them as I can. They are hosting the TCS NYC Marathon, the NYC Half and all the fun races you want to run to qualify for the big ones. I grew within the community here in New York as a runner. Running NYC races means a lot to me and I’m super proud to cross the finish line every single time. Thats my moment.
Running NYC Races
So no matter if you’re running the NYC marathon the first time, or your goal is running races in Central Park, just follow my running blog. I’ll keep you updated about the newest events, my race recaps and the NYC running races 2017. If you want to check on the upcoming races use the NYRR website. Their race calendar is always up to date and gives you any kind of information you need. My favorite NYC running race is definitely the NYC Half.
The course is amazing and the crowds are tremendous. Read more about my first NYC Half experience in my story. Enjoy your next or first race in New York – hopefully you will love running the NYC races as much as I do.
