The 2021 Miami Half Marathon course is beautiful and shares 12.8 miles of the same route as the full Miami Marathon. The course starts at the American Airlines Center - where the Miami Heat plays - and finishes near the same spot, looping around Miami Beach and hopping on the small chains of islands that dot the beach for 13.1 miles. Where the Miami Half ends is close to the halfway mark for the full marathon, which follows the same initial loop, but which ultimately heads south past Little Havana and towards Coconut Grove. This course has so many great views as you run next to the water. Really a special course overall that is close to flat the entire length and ends at 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33131. Remember, there is a time limit for the Miami Half that you must adhere to! The longest you have to finish the half is 3 and a half hours. That may sound like a lot of time, but anyone who has ever run a half marathon knows that finishing the race is no easy feat! Make sure you allow yourself a window for contingency whenever you are training for the half! How to register for the Miami Half Marathon
